Whoa! It has been ages since I read the last book, (and now I barely remember the title). Even though we are physically separated by continents, it never stop me and JuZie to share books of our liking that is Sophie Kinsella with the latest book, What's your number? And the interesting part is that the book is in form of ebook that can be read via iPhone or Mozilla Firefox!
Now that the book is available in electronic version, reading book is not necessarily an activity on the bed before I doze off, but while traveling, I also can kill time on the go. Great~
I've been meaning to learn in the depth about the sirah and way of life (sunnah) of Rasulullah s.a.w. For the sirah, I read Wikipedia, the least and laziest way to find the information about the histories of our Prophet (pbuh).
But it was a bit tricky to find the sources about sunnah Rasulullah s.a,w. I tried to find it at the book store but I didnt find any of its liking (Sebenarnyer tak pandai cari..huhu) . So, the intention stopped there.
On the other hand, I have a lazy habit after coming back from office. I would lay on the couch, switching on the telly, flipping through the numerous channels but more often than not, I couldn't stick to one show. Everything seems boring to watch. While the telly is there to produce sounds, I turn on my netbook.
But it was recently, while browsing the internet, I let myself listening to the show at tv Al-Hijrah. If I`m not mistaken there are three quicky shows before the athan of maghrib. All three shows are interesting to watch and to digest and one of them is Fattabiouni.
Every once in a while I glanced at the telly and I couldn't help from noticing the look of its host,Habib Mohammad Al-Saggaf with his radiant face and his smile is always pasted on his face. Only after watching a few series of the show, I noticed that the show is about to promote sunnah of Rasulullah!! Masya Allah, how close was I to what I`ve been seeking for this while.
This video that I extracted from youtube is one of the show at tv Al-hijrah. Not many of them are available in English or malay translation, for that matter. I like his way in delivering the mesages, with his own way and the enthuatisme is clearly shown on his face. May Allah bless his efforts in reviving the sunnah of prophet (pbuh).
Oh by the way, the background music is soothing, in case you wonder the song, it is by Sami Yusuf- Al Mu' alim.:) .
p/s ; the religious program next to this quickie (I`m not sure the title) is also interesting to watch, not to mention the hunky Arab host , Ahmad Alshugairi :p
One of my sisters, Tiqah has successfully completed her study at Politeknik Kota Melaka and is currently studying at diploma level in Shah Alam.
So we agreed to attend this convocation, besides to bring Mak for a short getaway from home. Since every graduates were allocated with 2 passes to enter the hall, I accompanied Mak to watch the ceremeony. Truth to be told, it was very sad that Aboh wasn`t there to see her next daughter in the convocation robe.
Upon entering the hall, the memories of me receiving the scroll during my convocation struck me.It was so moving, realizing how time has passed so quickly.
These are only half of my family members who were there. Ika and my baby brother, Zhaffri are big girl and boy now...

and when my late Abah was there.
And yes, the bestfriend is always there in the worst or the best day of our lives.
I only knew Demi Lovato as an artiste who has issues with bully, but wasn't into her song when Skyscrapper hit the chart. But my interest towards this young singer turned differently when this song was debut. I only saw her in the interview for the premier of the video clip with my favourite E! host, Giuliana Rancic. She looks like girl next door with little make up on, and yet her beauty radiants effortlessly in the video. And even Giuliana kept on complementing her througout the interview. Simply exquisite!
Demi Lovato-Give Your Heart A Break
The day I first met you
You told me you'd never fall in love
But now that I get you
I know fear is what it really was
Now here we are
So close yet so far
Haven't I passed the test
When will you realize
Baby, I'm not like the rest
Don't wanna break your heart
Wanna give your heart a break
I know you're scared it's wrong
Like you might make a mistake
There's just one life to live
And there's no time to wait, to waste
So let me give your heart a break, give your heart a break
Let me give your heart a break, your heart a break
Oh yeah, yeah
On Sunday you went home alone
There were tears in your eyes
I called your cell phone, my love
But you did not reply
The world is ours if we want it
We can take it if you just take my hand
There's no turning back now
Baby, try to understand
Don't wanna break your heart
Wanna give your heart a break
I know you're scared it's wrong
Like you might make a mistake
There's just one life to live
And there's no time to wait, to waste
So let me give your heart a break, give your heart a break
Let me give your heart a break, your heart a break
There's just so much you can take
Give your heart a break
Let me give your heart a break, your heart a break
Oh yeah, yeah
When your lips are on my lips
And our hearts beat as one
But you slip out of my fingertips
Every time you run, whoa-oh-whoa-oh-oh
Don't wanna break your heart
Wanna give your heart a break
I know you're scared it's wrong
Like you might make a mistake
There's just one life to live
And there's no time to wait, to waste
So let me give your heart a break
(Let me give your heart a break)
'Cause you've been hurt before
I can see it in your eyes
You try to smile it away, some things you can't disguise
Don't wanna break your heart
Maybe, I can ease the ache, the ache
So let me give your heart a break, give your heart a break
Let me give your heart a break, your heart a break
There's just so much you can take
Give your heart a break
Let me give your heart a break (your heart), your heart a break (a break)
PMO Sports Interdepartment 2012 has just ended. And like years before, I participated in a few sports. Again, considering the extinction of female athletes in our department.Pfftt...
As always, my motivation to let myself being nominated in various sports in a tight schedule throughout the two weeks is the Parkson cash vouchers, and yesss, besides getting sweat ocassionally. :P
So the sports are basketball, where we only managed to place ourselves at 4th place out of 5 participations.
And futsal, where we won 3rd place. (I hope I get this thing right, my memory is getting over days :P)
Other than that, I played squash, and our team won only at 3rd place *sigh for self performance*
And ah- haa, another sports was volleyball. And our team was the champion! Too bad we were too occupied to snap a photo of the champion team, which is us ~ Hmm not so much of cash vouchers were won this year, apparently. Nevermind.
And good thing about my performance in sports this year is that, I was selected to be on of EXPRO netballer. But the good news doesnt stay long, as the following training days with the strict coach is utterly nightmare! Well, on the flip side, I hope the nightmare will turn me out as a better person, eventually.
