Angry Birds for PC

It was one night after playing squashy, I went strolling in Mesra Mall with Aulfah- an iPhone4 buddy, when she suddenly pointed to a toy at one of the stalls and said
Eh, angry bird! It`s out already!
I was like – err..Ok.. I have no idea which toy she was talking about.
                                                    *********************
I was in the car with Ju.Zie and her husband chattering on our way to KL. Out of  the blue, Ju.Zie- also an iPhone4 buddy pointed to a toy in the car in front of us and shouted
Eh, angry bird!!
And I went
Why people kept on talking about angry birds these days??
Apparently, the character which was also featured in Rio movie is now a popular game amongst iPhone users. Oh man! This is what happened when I am missed out from the current trend and technology.
Nevertheless, I am not a game person, thus I never tried to play and see how fun the game was. Until recently, when I was in Melbourne and having a long journey to Great Ocean Road, I tried to kill the time by navigating the functions of the iPhone4 which belongs to a friend who sat next to me in the bus- something I never bother to do all this while, for I am not into gadget thing.
That was my  first encounter with the game, and little that I aware, I started to get addicted with the game- to the extent of considering to grab an iPhone4 for myself! Hahah. Yea I know, that is a ridiculous way of decision making.

I kept the addiction to myself, and after weeks of weighing the decision, I googled for the game, and voila! I found the version for PC! I was over the moon upon learning that I still can play it even if I don’t get the internet access. How cool is that? Hihihi..
Now I have more reasons to delay the replacement of my mobile, well, at least until iPhone5 is out- I hope I can wait that long. Hihihi

And this is the link for the crome-Angry bird. Have fun!

Punt Hill The Stanton Apartment, Melbourne

We arrived in Melbourne in the morning and went straight to our lodging to fresh up before proceed with the first tour. And this time around we stayed at Punt Hill The Stanton Apartment.

The apartment is situated at St.Kilda street. Only after we arrived there,we learnt that the apartment is located strategically nearby  the tram route where we could hop on and off the tram easily to go around the city. Plus, the apartment is situated next to Subway outlet, which saved our energy to go further from the apartment to find some bites. It has three rooms in each aparment that we rented.

In overall, the service met our expectation throughout our stay, except for the lacking of hospitality from the apartment owner during our arrival. Urgghh..!I prefer to save the details.Hihih

WPB 2012 and Shutdown Getaway in Melbourne

It is in the middle of hectic days at my work, for WPB 2012 budget cycle is still going on - which means that I am having hard time to catch my breath in office, and it justifies the long idle in this blog from any updates.

On the other hand, some of my travel mates are also on their busy days dealing with shutdown at the plants. But hey, the reasons were not strong enough to stop us from taking leaves and escape to our next destination- Melbourne!

Welcome by chilled air at 18°c where the local time is 2 hours earlier than Malaysian time , we finally arrived in Tullamarine Airport after 8 hours of journey. It was a super brief trip, thus, the itinerary was well laid out with travel agent before departure date.

Waiting for the bus at Federal Square

We started off our first visit in the afternoon to wildlife sanctuary where koalas, kangaroos, wombats and more Australian wildlife reside.

Feeding frenzy
It was getting dark, we headed to Philip Island to see penguins parade. Apparently, the picture taking was prohibited. The reason being, their sight nerves might damage if it is exposed to the flash from the camera. Nevertheless, Ju Zie the iphone user never failed to quietly snap the cute little penguins which were parading from the beach in the dark. Awesome!

clockwise :wombat, penguins parade, antagonis bird in Rio =p, kangaroo, koala

Koala Conservation Center-  breathtaking scenery in the woods

On the second day, we resumed the visit to Great Ocean Road. We went out as early as 7 o’clock in the morning while the air was chill at 10°c. We stopped at Colac briefly where we had the chance to snap pictures of autumn scenery, where the yellow and orange leaves were all over the places. A must- snap scenery  that we might missed had the tour guide not stopped by there.

The next spot was Twelve Apostles, where magnificent cliffs and natural structures were seen from the look out. It was windy day, but we were awed by the sight of scenery and wasted no time to snap pictures. The visit  was followed with London Bridge before resumed to Great Ocean Road.

Twelve Apostles - Chopper service is available for air tour, too bad we couldnt afford it.huhu

Lord Arc Gorge- beach with superstrong current

London Bridge- it was 'broken' into two due to constant wave attack

                                                                 From Twelve Apostle look-out

The day was getting dark, and we had another brief stop at Lorne.

The overall trip took up all day to complete. Nevertheless, we resumed the sightseeing and shopping in Melbourne CBD at night, where we stood a chance to take a ride to  go back to the apartment by using the tram.
                                                                   Busily paying the tram fare

Only after we hopped on the tram, Ju Zie alarmed us that we had taken the opposite direction from our destination. As a result, all of us stranded at the middle of the road wating the next coming tram.
‘Looser tourists!’
                   JuZie

Foodwise, we had excessive intakes of Subway and fish n chips. For the last night in Melbourne, we opted to try Halal Kebabs, with the price that might choke us all.hihihi.

Seeing the price and convert to RM, it is super pricey y'know

All food is wrapped using paper. Australians very serious when it comes to preserve their environment

Attention lover little blonde on the airbus. hihih

Wednesday, May 4

My sister should know these facts before she spoke to her sports teacher.

My sister, Nadia was selected to undergo an intensive training at Gong Badak to represent Terengganu as a 200m and 100m sprinter. The moment I told Mother to decline it, Father has already granted the permission to the school. Too late..
Nadia`s sport teacher asked her why I was adamant to not let her undergo the training. Just so you know, I called the sports teacher straight away to call her off as my attempt to stop her. And he even asked my sister whether I play any sports. To my surprise, Nadia answered no. I was like

 What??
I mean, surely I don’t want the teacher to see me as anti-sports as the reason of my disapproval, no?
Speaking of which, the past two weeks have been very vigorous weeks of the year, for the company where I work had organized our Mini Sports Carnival 2011. Being in maintenance department, where the numbers of female staff are really limited, I have participated in a few sports, out of my interest as well as cukupkan korum. And the motivation – at least RM 30 voucher for second runner up for every sports participated. Hihihi. So what are those sports? Here we go!
But before anything, I got myself a new sport shoes for more safety, comfort and yes- for this year`s carnival. Excited!ahahaha

17-18th : Squash
Squash is used to be my hang-out sports with my bestie, her husband and a few other fellas every week. After sweating ourselves during the games, we will gain back those losing calories by having McD supper late at night. I participated squash during this carnival and contributed some points to my team to win ourselves 3rd place. *i hear a sound of Ka-chingg!*
18-19th  : Netball
It is common, whenever there is sports carnival, there will be netball. I played too and we won second runner up. Sad to say, I managed to make only a few successful shots compared to many more wasted attempts. But hey, we won too! Hihih
18th- 19th : Volleyball
My serving skill never gets better for the second year of being volleyball player, let alone spiking skill. Well, perhaps I still have next year to do something.  And we won it too- at third place tho. Hahah

24th : Basketball
This was the first time I played basketball. Apparently it was more fun and less feminine rather than playing netball. I like! Anyway, we didn`t win anything for this game. Too bad..
26th -27th  :  Futsal
That was the wrap up for the games I participated. We didn`t win anything, too. But the games were so fun and worth running to chase the ball. Hihih. And the exhaustion is finally paid off. Whee~

The next new thing I want to learn - tennis!
