Mementos from Mecca and Holland

Sunday is always not a good mood booster to start work. But I have had a long public holidays plus unexpected MCs  two days prior to weekend. Like it or not, many outstanding tasks are already there on my desk waiting for my attention. Plus, my office mood-uplifter, Kak Jejai was still on leave to send her kids on their first day to school, auwwwww. But yes, there are some people I connected with while doing my work who always there to keep me accompanied and mentally-stabilized, kan Ju.Zie, Kak Yan kan???hehhhehe.

There are quite a number of officemates who just got back from Mecca to perform haj. And this morning , I received  a prayer mat from one of them. It`s been a while I used my old prayer mat. Now it is time to change for a new one, fresh from Tanah Haram.

It was almost lunch time when I was so absorbed with my work, that any disruption was the last thing that I could entertain at that point of time. A senior engineer approached to my workstation, straight faced. A few hours before, he requested me to expedite my endorsement to his travelling request, and I did. So, what now?? Oh by the way, my endorsement was required as part of business process flow, not that I am his superior or anything yea!

And suddenly he popped this key chain to me. It was a thank you gesture anyway, work thing. I was very overwhelming, that I can`t help from hiding the excitement in front of him. Yes, I know. It is just merely a keychain. I don`t know, I get excited when received this kinda tiny thing, with the hope that I will the chance to be there someday.. Hmmmm..
